Certified Functional Health Coach & Wellness Educator
I grew up as a sick child who spent time in and out of hospitals. That experience gave me something most people don't find until much later in life — a deep, personal understanding of what it feels like to not be well, and a profound desire to help others feel better.
As I entered healthcare, I quickly realized I wanted to do more than manage symptoms. I wanted to help people truly enjoy their lives and feel their best every day. The philosophy that has guided me ever since is simple:
"If you don't take time for wellness, you will be forced to make time for illness."
I was drawn to lifestyle medicine and the idea that prevention is just as powerful as treatment — and that the body, when given the right support, has an incredible capacity to heal.

Book a Free Clarity CallWorking with women in primary care, I kept seeing the same pattern: normal lab results, significant suffering, and limited options. Women were being handed antidepressants or sleep aids for symptoms rooted in hormonal transition. I knew we weren't looking deep enough — and I knew there had to be a better way to support them.
Leaving the traditional healthcare model wasn't easy. It required stepping outside of familiar structures, investing in new education, and trusting that women deserved more than a system driven by insurance requirements. The freedom to spend real time with patients — to truly listen and investigate — made every sacrifice worth it.
As a woman who has personally navigated some of these same hormonal challenges, I felt called to this work in a way that went beyond professional interest. Too many women are told their symptoms are simply a normal part of aging and that nothing can be done. I wanted to create a space where women feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported.
"Symptoms are often signals, not the problem itself. The body has an incredible ability to heal when given the right support — healing is a process, not a quick fix."— Angela McKnight
I often tell patients that improving health is a marathon, not a sprint. Small, consistent changes create lasting results over time. My goal is to help you build realistic habits that support lifelong wellness — not temporary improvements that fade the moment life gets busy.
Before anything else, I want to understand what you're experiencing, how your symptoms affect your daily life, and what your personal health goals are. Your story is the most important data point we have.
Rather than focusing on diagnoses in isolation, I look at the contributing factors beneath them — nutrition, lifestyle, stress, sleep, hormonal balance, and how these systems influence one another.
There is no one-size-fits-all solution in functional health. We work together to create a plan that fits your unique biology, your lifestyle, and your goals — and we adjust it as you evolve.
While medications have an important place in healthcare, my goal is to help you achieve the best possible health with the least amount of intervention necessary — through nutrition, lifestyle shifts, and evidence-based strategies.
I want you to feel heard, empowered, and actively involved in your health journey — not a passive recipient of advice. Your questions, your feedback, and your lived experience all shape the path we build together.
I have seen what happens when perimenopausal women are finally given the right support — they get their energy back, their thinking clears, their body responds again. They start participating in the life they had quietly stepped back from.
As patients begin feeling better physically, something broader shifts. They have more energy, greater confidence, and a renewed ability to do the things they love. When people feel better, they start living the life they envisioned for themselves.
That transformation is why I do this work — and it is the standard I hold myself to with every woman I have the privilege of supporting.
